Description and Application of the Components
Stage # 1 – Pre-filter of 30 microns: Pre filters particles larger than 30 microns-Has an automatic cleaning system – RETROLAVADO in counter current- Prolongs the life of the filtration system-Not replaced.
Step # 2 – PP 5 micron (4.5″ x 10″) Sediment. Eliminates large particles of oxide, sand, dirt, dust, and contaminants – It has a useful life of 3 months depending on the quality of the water.
Step # 3 – Metal structure of 12,800 Gauss – Disintegrates the clusters of molecules in the water by increasing the sterilization of the same.
Stage # 4 – Activated Carbon (GAC) plus KDF (4.5″ x 10″) – Eliminates chlorine and heavy metals including arsenic, cadmium, cobalt, chromium, copper, mercury, nickel, lead, tin and Zinc, up to 75% – Eliminates accumulations of calcium and kills bacteria -Shelf life of six months depending on water quality.
Stage # 5 – Block Carbon (4.5″x 10″) – Improves taste and odor in water – Eliminates remaining chlorine and organic chemical contaminants – Shelf life of six months depending on water quality.
Step # 6 – PP, 1 micron (4.5″x 10″) Sediment – Able to filter viruses and smaller particles present in the water – It has a useful life of 3 months depending on the quality of the water.
